Mike Blank Mike Blank was appointed as a trustee of the Primary Care Respiratory Society UK in September 2008.Mike is married with two teenage children and lives in Surrey. He has a background as a registered nurse (in psychiatry) and worked in the NHS for over 20 years, becoming a general manager in an NHS trust. Mike is Chief Executive of a growing charity called SADAS. He has overseen the growth of SADAS from a small and struggling charity to a large provider of services. Mike hopes that as a trustee of the Primary Care Respiratory Society UK he will be able to support the Primary Care Respiratory Society UK in its aims and with his experience in the charity sector he hopes to be able to asssit Primary Care Respiratory Society UK in ensuring that it has the best possible governance. He comments, "Good governance ensures good practice – and good practice is what Primary Care Respiratory Society UK is all about, plus I have a deep interest in good science." |
