Neil Kendle
Chair of the Board of Trustees
Neil Kendle has been a healthcare communications practitioner for over 25 years, mostly advising pharmaceutical companies. As such he spends a great deal of his working life working closely with healthcare professionals.
For most of these 25 years he has run his own businesses, large and small. As a trustee of the Primary Care Respiratory Society UK he, therefore, brings both a commercial nous and an understanding how the pharmaceutical industry and healthcare professional interact. He is very aware that this relationship, including the funding of medical charities, is often criticised and he is passionate that such relationships should be conducted to the highest ethical standards and be seen to do so.
Neil sees the role of the Board of Trustees to support the Primary Care Respiratory Society UK Executive to allow them to meet the aims and objectives of the Primary Care Respiratory Society UK whilst at the same time ensuring the Charity fulfils its regulatory obligations and has a strong governance framework
He is a graduate in psychology and started his working life as a clinical psychologist in the National Health Service before moving into the pharmaceutical industry and from there into communications. |
