What’s in the programme?
The programme will include a series of highly practical and interactive sessions, led by expert presenters and facilitators on:
The changing NHS landscape

Critical appraisal of clinical papers

How to make use of real world, ongoing data to drive improvements in care

Communicating data effectively to engage and influence others

This meeting will provide you with the skills, tools, resources and ideas to maximize the use of data and resources to support you in your leadership role and the delivery of improved respiratory care.

Co-chairs of this meeting are:
Dr Basil Penney – GP in Darlington and Respiratory Lead for Darlington PCT
Sandy Walmsley – Lead Respiratory Nurse Specialist, Heart of England Foundation Trust. Joint Respiratory Clinical Lead, West Midlands SHA

This meeting is part of the PCRS-UK Respiratory Leaders Programme, designed to support the development of clinicians who work as leaders in respiratory primary care, working beyond practice level to drive the development of respiratory services.   Places are available for individual members of the PCRS-UK to attend FREEE OF CHARGE, including accommodation for the night of Friday 11 November 2011, all meals and refreshments.
