Swine Flu Resources - WalesWales has not yet switched on their National Pandemic Flu Service. This situation is being kept under constant review More people are becoming infected as the virus begins to circulate more freely in the community, rather than being limited to those that had travelled to an affected country and their close contacts. This is why efforts are being focused on treating the increasing number of people with the disease than trying to contain it.In Wales, if symptoms are causing concern, or people are in an at risk group such as those with heart and lung disease, children under 5 or pregnant women, they should phone NHS Direct on 0845 46 47 or phone their GP.
