PCRS-UK Local Nurse Group Leaders Event

‘Inspiring you to make a difference’

6 October 2011, Telford International Centre

The PCRS-UK local nurse groups met for a dedicated session at the Telford conference for a lively evening with Billy Dixon.

Billy gave an enlightening and inspirational talk about successful leaders drawing on examples from the media, sport and politics, and how you too can use these techniques yourself to become an inspirational and motivational leader.

  • Did you know to be an inspiring leader you only need 3 things?
    • Confidence, Trust and a Positive Attitude
  • Leaders can be developed and others will follow
  • In order to succeed you need to have passion which itself needs to be fuelled by a clear vision
  • Remember - behaviour changes attitude not the other way round!
There was a really positive feeling amongst the nurse group; Billy provided a relaxed, fun, entertaining session – as well as sharing techniques for confidence and leadership that can be applied to both personal and professional lives.
