Lung Improvement programme and SHA clinical respiratory leads
 Lung Improvement Programme - NHS Improvement is an organisation committed to transform, deliver and build sustainable improvements across the whole pathway of care in priority NHS disease areas. In 2010, they appointed a Lung Improvement team to support clinical respiratory leads in the SHAs, the development of Respiratory Networks, and pilot programmes to improve the management of respiratory disease. This team of 6 is aligned to different SHAs, and different topic areas, and they are driving forward improvements in the way care is delivered and ensuring that good practice is shared across the country.
