The PCRS-UK has ambitious plans to undertake a number of national primary care based audits to assess and reflect on the current practice with regard to the diagnosis and management of respiratory conditions.
PCRS-UK Audits are:
Designed to be easy to participate in
Simple to complete and take little time
Completed online via an easy to navigate website developed by Dr Mark Levy
Once you have submitted your audit data you will be able to compare the results of your audit against set standards based on national/international guidelines and approved by PCRS-UK. You will also be able to compare your anonymised results against those of your peers who have participated in the audit.
What’s in it for You?
Your patients may benefit from your having participated in this audit. It is widely recognized that patients benefit from those practices who regularly participate in audit programmes
This is an easy way to learn about the benefits of audit using a random sample of just 10 patients from your practice
This audit is run by PCRS-UK – a well respected primary care society dedicated to optimizing respiratory care. Your anonymised data is safe in our hands.
You will see the results of your audit instantly and will be able to see graphs showing your performance against the agreed standards
A report can be printed and used for discussion with your colleagues and as a basis for teaching/education/practice review
A report of the audit can be printed and used as a record for professional development and, in case of GPs, used to support revalidation/reaccreditation
