Members can work through the case studies independently as part of your own personal professional development or as part of a group in your practice. Each case history is divided into three different steps accessed by clicking the link at the bottom of each page. Once members have completed a case history they have the opportunity to produce a certificate of completion which is provided in print-ready electronic PDF format for your personal development portfolio. Paper to Patient Paper to Patient is an educational programme which assists healthcare professionals to translate the new Consultation on a strategy for Services for COPD in England (and respective Clinical Standards or Service Framework in Scotland or Northern Ireland) and updated NICE COPD Guideline. The programme offers a series of interactive meetings and online training. The Paper to Patient programme has been funded by Allen & Hanburys, the specialist respiratory division of GlaxoSmithKline, and developed in partnership with PCRS-UK. Allen & Hanburys is funding the development of an educational package, consultation fees with PCRS-UK members, meeting logistics, and speaker fees. |
