Martyn Partridge

Martyn Partridge is Emeritus Professor of Respiratory Medicine, National Heart and Lung Institute, Imperial College London. He is no longer practising clinically. Between 2010 and May 2013 he was additionally Senior Vice Dean of the Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine in Singapore, a joint Imperial /NTU school. His research interests in recent years have mainly involved the evaluation of innovations and improvements in the delivery of effective care to those with respiratory ill health, and in evaluating new methods of learning. He is especially interested in the problems of non compliance/ adherence (and the associated unnecessary suffering) and convinced of the need to offer greener respiratory healthcare, especially because of the adverse effects of the environment on lung health.
