Noel is a portfolio GP who has spent most of his career in Southwark, London working in both clinical and commissioning roles and is now practising as a GP in Edinburgh. He has held regional roles including co-lead of the London respiratory strategic clinical network from 2010 until 2016 and the London Clinical Senate ‘Helping smokers quit’ delivery team programme that completed in August 2016. Nationally, he is the most recent ex Chair of PCRS, he led the primary care work stream of the RCP national asthma and COPD audit (NACAP) until 2018 and was a member of the 2017 NICE clinical guideline group for asthma management. He supports and has provided clinical advice to the British Lung Foundation and Asthma UK over many years and is a board member of ASH. In 2019 he took over the role of Policy Lead for PCRS and was appointed as a Board Director for the International Primary Care Respiratory Group (IPCRG).
