I qualified in 2000 with a first class Bsc (hons) Nursing and I rose to Clinical Site manager position in secondary care. I moved to primary care and practice nursing 14 years ago. I am an experienced practice nurse, having worked in Lincolnshire and Norfolk. I am the Lead Nurse at Ludham and Stalham Green Surgeries. I am the lead clinician for respiratory care at our surgeries. My role as research nurse at the practice, enables me to keep up to date with evolving practice and network across north Norfolk. I strive for positive change to provide outstanding patient care. I am committed to continuously improving patient care and enhance nurse team cohesion. I see continuous professional development as vital to the nursing profession. As a practice we have achieved CQC 'outstanding' and made the final 3 GP practices for ‘surgery of the year’ - The People’s Choice Award (The General Practice Awards 2018). My appointment to the board of North Norfolk Primary Care has allowed me to influence change and work innovatively within primary care in North Norfolk at scale. I am passionate respiratory care.
