Simpson Millar joins forces with PCRS to support network of local respiratory groups

PCRS is delighted to announce that Simpson Millar has joined forces with PCRS to support our fantastic network of local respiratory groups – the PCRS Peer Support Network.

Simpson Millar is a UK wide law firm that provides a number of legal services including support for those who suffer from industrial illness, who have had accidents at work or while serving in the Armed Forces, those needing family law advice, going through a separation or divorce, to people looking to purchase a new home.  In addition Simpson Millar have many years’ experience of dealing with occupational asthma claims.

Sponsorship from Simpson Millar will contribute to the ongoing support, training and resources that PCRS provides to around 50 local respiratory groups, all of whom are affiliated to PCRS.  Simpson Millar will also provide specialist information and advice to help practitioners who may wish to support patients with respiratory conditions and help them to access the benefits and legal advice they need.

Deborah Krelle, Head of Industrial Disease, at Simpson Millar commented, “Simpson Millar are proud to be sponsoring the work that is done by the Primary Care Respiratory Society. It is wonderful to be able to support NHS healthcare practitioners at this challenging time and to be able to provide them with information about the services and advice we can offer to their patients which they may not otherwise have direct access to.”

Carol Stonham, Executive Chair of PCRS said “We’re delighted to welcome Simpson Millar as sponsors of our PCRS Peer Support Network - their support will help us to continue to provide the best possible resources for our local, PCRS network of affiliated groups.  In addition, Simpson Millar are able to bring their own expertise and insight on industrial respiratory conditions, which in turn could help HCPs ensure their patients have access to appropriate information and advice.”
