Good practice in respiratory health management and neighbourhood care

Help respiratory health management to be the vanguard of good neighbourhood care

PCRS is inviting healthcare professionals to share examples of best practice that demonstrate innovative, integrated, neighbourhood care projects for people with respiratory conditions. This is a great opportunity to showcase your projects as part of a national piece of work.

This call forms part of a wider national campaign informed by a government report, which introduced the concept of Neighbourhood Health to tackle fragmentation in care and improve outcomes through better integration of primary, secondary, community and social services - issues raised in Lord Darzi's report.

We believe this is a key opportunity to showcase how joined-up working—whether expert hospital-at-home teams, pioneering social prescribing projects or culturally sensitive smoking cessation initiatives—can reduce hospitalisations, support prevention, and improve quality of life.

Developing a good practice repository

PCRS is building the biggest repository of examples of best practice to support neighbourhood health. This is part of our programme to facilitate the sharing of experience and knowledge in respiratory primary, community and integrated care.

Contribute to this programme and showcase your work by sharing your project’s details, learning, outcomes and your experience with us via a short write up and video.
