Mohamed Mansoor
Dr. Mohamed Mansoor is a GP partner and respiratory clinical lead for the River and Wolds Primary care network. With two decades of NHS experience, he has led transformative initiatives in respiratory care. As the clinical lead for the Path to FeNO project, he spearheaded one of the largest NHS funded initiative providing enhanced asthma diagnostics across 37 Primary Care Networks, significantly improving patient outcomes. His leadership earned him a Highly Commended Award at the National Healthcare Business Awards 2023.
He is the Children and Young People’s Asthma Lead for Humber and North Yorkshire ICB. His innovative work in COPD management, particularly his RESPiRe group education and self-management initiative was recognised at the 2024 National GP Awards where he won the Clinical Improvement Long-Term Conditions Award. His work continues to drive improvements in patient care, reduce unplanned healthcare utilisation, and optimise respiratory pathways across primary and secondary care.
Dr. Mansoor works closely with secondary care teams to improve and organise the primary and secondary care interface, enhance diagnostics, streamline pathways and champion best practices in respiratory health. His commitment to innovation and service development continues to drive meaningful change in the field. Alongside his clinical work, he is a GP trainer and tutor for the Hull York Medical School.
Outside of work, Dr. Mansoor is a proud father to two children and a keen long-distance road cyclist.
