Alison Summerfield

photo of Alison SummerfieldAlison is a Paediatric Respiratory & Allergy Nurse Consultant at The Hillingdon Hospital NHS Trust.
Alison works as an independent practitioner and lead nurse of a CNS team based in secondary care with outreach into the community.
Alison’s role is divided between caring for children with asthma, preschool wheeze, allergies, cystic fibrosis & primary ciliary dyskinesia.

She has led on the Asthma Friendly Schools initiative which is fully embedded in the borough of Hillingdon and Paediatric Role Modelling Asthma clinics in primary care.

Alison is a member of the London Asthma Leadership and Implementation Group for Children and Young People (LALIG) and a member of the North West London (NWL) Paediatric Asthma. She has worked in a seconded role as a Paediatric Asthma Senior Delivery Project Manager at NWL ICB. She is also a NPRANG committee member.

Alison was the winner of the BJN Respiratory Nurse of The Year 2023.
