Ran Wang
Ran Wang, BSc, MBChB, MRes, PhD, MRCP(UK), is a National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR) Clinical Lecturer in Respiratory Medicine at the University of Manchester and Manchester NHS Foundation Trust. Her clinical-translational research aims to improve how asthma is diagnosed and treated, with a particular emphasis on accessible, home-based diagnostic pathways and precision phenotyping. Dr Wang holds an NIHR Research for Patient Benefit award investigating home asthma diagnostic strategies and support from Asthma + Lung UK to advance novel diagnostic and phenotyping approaches. Her broader interests include applied clinical research, biomedical big data, circadian biology, computational modelling and lung physiology.
