In association with Sandoz, we are delighted to be hosting a new webinar series on asthma care
The Journey Begins with the Right Diagnosis
Wednesday 23 June 2021, 17:00 - 18:00
Getting the right diagnosis for our patients with asthma can take time but it is so important that we get it right from the outset. A correct diagnosis ensures the correct treatment can be started, the response to treatment measured, and supported self-management implemented from the word go.
For clinicians, just as if we are setting off on a journey, we need to equip ourselves with the right tools and knowledge to ensure we start the patient off on the right path, guide them away from the pitfalls, take a break if needed i.e. when treatment doesn't seem to be working, reassess and maybe even go back to the beginning and start again. We may only be with our patients for very short chunks of time, sometimes less than 10 minutes, so we need to be able to ensure that the key messages of basic asthma care are delivered in this timeframe ensuing that they know which path to take and which to avoid.
In the first of our new series of insightful webinars, GP Katherine Hickman will share how we can get our patients on the right path from the word go.
This non-promotional webinar has been sponsored by Sandoz who have had no editorial input into the presentation. At the end of the webinar, there will be a short promotional session from Sandoz.
