Becoming an accredited ARTP spirometry trainer/assessor

The old system of having ARTP accredited training centres has now come to an end. In its place, there are ARTP accredited trainer/assessors. These are individuals who have been accredited by ARTP as competent to run the half day practical skills workshops for people being trained for full or foundation certification.  And also to run the OSCE practical assessment workshops to certify people as competent.

Both ARTP and PCRS are keen to see people from primary care becoming accredited trainer/assessors since they will have a good understanding of the primary care perspective.

For a full description of how to apply, see https://www.pcrs-uk.org/sites/pcrs-uk.org/files/ARTP_training.pdf To express an interest in becoming a ARTP-accredited trainer/ assessor – you can fill in this online form.
