Dayo is a practising GP who qualified in 1987. She was appointed as Respiratory Clinical Lead GP Bedfordshire Clinical Commissioning Group (BCCG) in 2013 and currently chairs the local Respiratory Improvement Network group, promoting and facilitating the delivery of improved respiratory care to people of Bedfordshire. She led the writing and implementation of the BCCG Respiratory guidelines initially published in 2013, updated in April 2016 and March 2018. She is involved in presentations and educational talks to GPs, Nurses and Patient groups. Dayo also works as a sessional out of hours GP. She is the Chair of BEDOC (Bedford Doctors on Call) appointed in April 2014. She is the prescribing lead for Bedford locality and a member of the Bedfordshire and Luton Joint Prescribing Committee (JPC). She is also a member of the Conference Organising Committee PCRS, Respiratory Clinical Leadership Programme PCRS and the East of England Clinical Senate Assembly.
