Dominick Shaw

photo of Dominick ShawDr Dominick Shaw is Professor and Honorary Consultant at the University of Leicester and University Hospitals Leicester NHS Trust.
His main research interest is in severe asthma. Clinically he manages severe asthma, EGPA and rare cystic lung disease.
His other clinical and research focus is on respiratory care for the homeless. He pioneered an award-winning drop-in clinic for rough sleepers in Nottingham. The clinic was highlighted by the Big Issue as an exemplar and has reduced hospital admissions in this vulnerable population by 30%.
