The International Primary Care Respiratory Group (IPCRG) has been invited to nominate a GP to represent its members on the European Position Paper on Rhinosinusitis (EPOS). This is a multidisciplinary position paper author group on rhinosinusitis originally started in 2005 as a taskforce of EAACI and endorsed by the ERS. There are 3 versions: 2005, 2007 and 2012 (http://www.ep3os.org). They plan to have a new version in 2020.
Professors David Price and Mike Thomas have both recently stood down as the GP members of the group, and the Chair of EPOS, Prof. Dr. Wytske Fokkens, from Amsterdam, has approached IPCRG to nominate a GP ideally from the UK. Involvement iincludes attending several meetings in European centres, some evidence-based paper assessment, some feedback to and from the IPCRG, and some writing plus probably presentations. In return the representative will be an author on a number of publications.
Please contact Administration@theipcrg.org in the first instance if you are interested in applying, with a copy of your CV and a short email explaining why you would be a good IPCRG representative on EPOS.
