On Demand Webinar: Delivering respiratory care in the community

A novel, specialist-led, multidisciplinary approach to delivering respiratory care in the community

Please note: Participation in Q&A and Polls features are not available when viewing on demand webinars, and the PCRS Membership offer is only available to those who attended the live webinar.

The talk will showcase an overview of the Portsmouth Hospital Trust, quality improvement MISSION ABC project that designed, delivered and tested a model of care to drive improvements and educate people with asthma, COPD and undiagnosed breathlessness.

The talk will highlight the outcomes of this community based approach and how it overcame historical barriers between primary and secondary care, uniting professions and providers to deliver a high quality experience for patients.

Attendees will also learn about the spread and adoption of the MISSION project and how it has developed a toolbox containing all the essential respiratory equipment to deliver respiratory care to assist localities in planning, implementing and evaluating MISSION.
